Ali Carter - Company Director
Ali has a BA Hons in Drama and Contemporary Dance and moved to London in the 80’s to complete her post-graduate education and pursue a career in the Performing Arts.
Ali has worked in the Performing Arts for over 20 years, initially as a performer, and then as Promotions Manager at the famous London Astoria, and Programme Manager at The Roadmender Arts Centre in Northampton. Ali has also worked extensively in tour management and promotion with UK and International Artists in both the Music and Dance industries.
She has worked with a number of public and private sector arts organisations, and is a keen entrepreneur with a passion for social enterprise. Developing and managing performing arts projects is a particular area of expertise and in recent years Ali has initiated and managed projects which have consistently achieved a high level of voluntary sector funding.
Ali created Diverse Arts Ltd in 2001 in order to showcase a diverse range of artistic learning experiences to an equally diverse range of audiences.
In her quest to develop people’s potential, Ali will always go the extra mile. As a result she has recently completed a hugely successful 5 year project delivering work experience initiatives in Music, Theatre and Contemporary Dance.
